Meet Jennifer
Jennifer Jellum, a dedicated resident of Lafayette County, stands as a proud candidate for re-election as County Treasurer, eager to continue her service to the community. Throughout her tenure, she has committed herself to advocating for the financial well-being of Lafayette County and ensuring transparency and accountability in financial management.
In addition to her local role, Jellum holds the esteemed position of President of the Missouri County Treasurers' Association, a testament to the trust and confidence placed in her by fellow County Treasurers. Grateful for the opportunity to lead and collaborate with treasurers statewide, she works tirelessly to promote excellence in public finance and shares best practices across the state.
Furthermore, Jellum serves with pride on the Missouri Association of Counties Board, actively engaging in shaping policies and initiatives that benefit all counties in Missouri. She finds fulfillment in the collective effort to ensure that counties' concerns are heard and addressed at the state level, particularly in advocating for strong local government throughout the state.
"I have worked alongside Jennifer since January 2013, when we were both sworn in as Treasurers of our County's. She has taken great pride in serving Lafayette County for over 11 years. Jennifer stays active in her County and in our Missouri County Treasurers' Association, where she is currently the President. She is a hard worker and stays up on legislation to make sure that the citizens, businesses and County stay protected.
